The REMIND app is a secondary communication tool used to immediately share important announcements, rehearsal and concert updates, and reminders with students in the Hillgrove High School Orchestra Program. To ensure appropriate and effective use, the following guidelines apply:
Only Hillgrove orchestra members, their parents, and Hillgrove administrators may enroll in their respective REMIND account listed above. All other individuals will be removed.
The orchestra REMIND accounts may only be used for school-related group communication, such as rehearsal changes, concert reminders, field trip details, and other urgent announcements.
Do not use the orchestra REMIND accounts as a platform for casual conversations.
All communication through REMIND should be respectful and professional.
Never direct message the director or other staff member. The message will go unread. Messages to the director must go through formal CCSD channels, such as email or CTLS.
All communication must follow Cobb County School District (CCSD) guidelines for appropriate digital interaction between students and staff.
Misuse of the REMIND app (e.g., sending unrelated messages, inappropriate content, or excessive direct messages) will result in a warning. Continued misuse may result in the loss of access to REMIND for the student, and parents will be contacted.
